Slide Show Presentations - part 2

Step 3: Adding Titles And Credits

Now that you've added all your pictures to the storyboard, it's time to add titles. In the Movie Tasks pane, under Edit Movie, click Make Titles Or Credits. You'll be asked to choose where to add the title and then you may select a style for your title screen. There's so much you can do here, because a title can be one line of simple text or several pages that fade into the distance.

You can make use of the titles throughout your presentation too, don't just think they belong only at the start. Take some time to experiment, and choose the style for the title that seems appropriate for your slide show. You can preview your work at any time by just pressing the Play button in the preview window.

Step 4: Adding Transitions

The pictures will probably seem to jump from one to the next and that is where transitions come into their full glory. You add transitions like this:

1.  In the Movie Tasks pane under Edit Movie, click View Video Transitions. These Video Transitions will then be shown where your pictures were displayed.

2.  Drag the video transition to the video transition cell between two pictures on the storyboard. These transitions are a wonderful feature and below you can watch a cute, fun and happy little mini-movie that demonstrates some of the transitions that can be used with Windows Movie Maker. You can do this easily too!
